NEW WORK IN at an on-demand delivery and Digi tech shop in SA, owed by one of our major retail groups. The current need is for a DevOps Engineer with key capabilities of deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customers’ needs.

You will work with a top team of developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO GRAD THEIR ATTENTION

• You have been working as a DevOps engineer for at least 5 years; and a SRE Role or in a similar technical role for a further 5 years
• You are Proficient in Development, Testing, and Automation Tools
• Skilled in GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker
• You understand an IT Infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
• Process Management Skills
• Ability to define, set up, and optimize development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
• Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills
• Some technical knowledge in C# .NET stack would serve you well.
• By nature, you are a team player team spirit and exceptional attention to detail
• You have the ability to offer direction and can say no when needed
• SLA Management: Ability to monitor and measure specific performance metrics to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Qualification:

• Tertiary IT qualification
• Certified Azure Developer certification (preferrable)
• Certified Microsoft DevOps certification
