SKIN-SPA THERAPIST (All-rounder Skin Care, Aesthetics & Body Care)

DAR ES SALAAM – Tanzania

START: A.S.A.P / 01 January 2026

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday – Sunday
• 09:00 – 20:00 trading
• 8-hour shift daily on rotation
• 1x day off per week + Leave cycle

REPORTS TO: Manager & Owner

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 2-Year Contract (Renewable)

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• USD $800 Basic per month
• Incentive earned on products sold – excellent earning potential
• Company accommodation (Single Room) + all utilities (laundry, kitchen etc.) and free high speed Wi-Fi
• Return flight from South Africa to Tanzania (join & end of contract)
• Employment permit will be provided by the employer
• (unpaid) annual leave – after 12 month’s of employment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Valid Passport for traveling
2. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
3. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology/ Aesthetics etc. (2-year Diploma)
4. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
5. Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 3+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad) performing advanced skin care therapies
2. high-end salon, spa or aesthetic therapy experience
3. Experience working with active ingredients
4. Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments preferred
5. Cruise ship employment experience is highly beneficial

SKILLS DESIRED:

• Skin Care including Deep Cleanse Facials (extractions)
• Facials with active ingredients
• Microdermabrasion, Dermabrasion, Resurfacing and Peel treatments
• Oxygen therapies
• Skin tag removal

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
2. Confidently perform advance skin care treatments (including Deep Cleanse with extractions), peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
3. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
4. Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
5. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
6. Driven and motivated to upskill by staying up to date with trends and products
7. Ability to work on all skin types including ethnic, Caucasian and Asian etc.
