Job Summary

We have a vacancy for a Theatre Unit Manager at a reputable level 3 Private Hospital based in the beautiful dolphin coast of KZN. It`s for a 4 theatre complex. Key Outputs: Ensure unit is providing safe, cost effective quality patient care in line with Clinical Governance strategy and evidence based practice Evaluation of the patients journey through patient experience and stakeholder input Evaluation of Theatre nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes Effective communication with patients regarding their care Promotion of health and well being Ensuring the principles of infection prevention and all standard precautions are adhered to Promote good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors Identify quality improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate strategy and Quality Improvement initiatives are developed and measured

Requirements:

SANC registered as a Registered Nurse A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/ B Cur Degree) Qualification in Theatre Technique Degree/Diploma. Diploma in Nursing Administration would be an advantage 7 or more years of experience as a RN 2 or more years of experience in theatre in a private hospital setting as Theatre Unit Manager First preferance will be given to EE Candidates
