About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Wildlife & Conservation Ambassador to join one of Zambia’s leading luxury lodge groups. As a key representative of the brand, you will be responsible for delivering authentic conservation experiences, promoting biodiversity efforts, and representing the reserves’ values on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Representing the brand at international trade shows, conservation events, and media functions
- Delivering talks, presentations, and guest engagement activities at the lodges
- Facilitating conservation learning journeys for VIP guests and partners
- Assisting in content creation, including editorial pieces and conservation updates
- Collaborating with local and international partners to promote biodiversity efforts
- Acting as a liaison between operational teams, conservation NGOs, and key tourism stakeholders
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in conservation, guiding, ecological research, or wildlife management
- Strong working knowledge of African ecosystems and conservation challenges
- Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Fluent English required; Afrikaans and Shangaan advantageous
- Valid drivers license; firearm competency a plus
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Conservation Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
