LLB GRADUATE Jnr Legal Associate – R 25-30k pm – STELLENBOSCH (Private Sector)
A growing in-house legal team within a dynamic property development group is looking for a newly qualified LLB graduate who wants to build a long-term career outside of traditional legal practice.This role is ideal for someone who does not want to pursue articles in a law firm, but instead wants hands-on exposure inside a commercial business environment where legal work is closely tied to real projects, deals, and development activity across multiple African jurisdictions.
You will work directly with senior legal leadership and play a critical support role in keeping high-value development projects moving smoothly.
What Youll Be Doing
This is a practical, detail-driven legal role focused on the operational backbone of a fast-moving property group. Responsibilities include:

Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and property-related contracts

Managing legal documentation for development transactions

Supporting due diligence on projects across African markets

Handling internal legal admin and compliance tracking

Coordinating with external attorneys and advisors

Assisting with company secretarial and governance processes

Researching regulatory and property frameworks across jurisdictions

Maintaining structured contract and document management systems
