About the Role

ProStaffSelect is seeking an outgoing and bubbly Restaurant Hostess to join our esteemed 5-star hotel in Stellenbosch. Located in the leafy suburb of Paradyskloof, our award-winning hotel offers sublime luxury and world-class standards with blissfully private accommodation for 64 guests, spa facilities, and fine dining cuisine at its best. We are looking for a passionate and professional individual to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make bookings for guests
  • Welcome and seat guests in the restaurant or within the hotel
  • Attend to customers seated in the restaurant or within the hotel
  • Manage online bookings and table reservations
  • Conduct daily cash-up and revenue summaries
  • Perform office admin tasks
  • Liaise with the head chef, front office team, and management

Requirements

  • Matric plus a tertiary qualification in hospitality / hotel management
  • Previous experience within a fine dining environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Own transport (essential)

Qualifications

  • Completed Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Hotel Management
