About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a detail-oriented SAICA Clerk to join their reputable firm in Stellenbosch. This opportunity provides an excellent platform for aspiring accountants to gain practical experience while working towards their SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and completion of financial statements and tax returns.
- Participate in audit engagements, including planning and fieldwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Support senior accountants and audit managers with various accounting tasks.
- Prepare working papers and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as required.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed or currently enrolled in the SAICA training program.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
