About the Role
The Lodge Anchor serves as the central point of coordination between guests and lodge operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. This role combines front-of-house hosting, guest relations, and operational support, acting as the anchor that keeps all departments aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and host guests throughout their stay
- Ensure a warm, personalized, and memorable guest experience
- Handle guest requests, special arrangements, and preferences
- Act as the main point of contact for guests
- Oversee daily lodge activities and guest schedules
- Liaise with housekeeping, kitchen, guides, and maintenance teams
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations if needed
- Maintain high hospitality standards across all departments
- Monitor service delivery and address any gaps immediately
- Assist with meal service, hosting dinners, and special events
Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Qualification in Hospitality Management (advantageous)
Minimum 24 years experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Experience in guest relations, front office, or hosting roles
