About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ME Engineer to join our team in Uitenhage, responsible for managing the Bill of Material process and ensuring data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have advanced SAP experience and a strong background in manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bill of Material process and audit its off.
- Set up, control, and create Bill of Materials.
- Setup and control Master data and link to MII & Qmusik for correct data recording and printing.
- Lead and generate QRCI to investigate BOM concerns.
- Review and manage FMEAs and process flow diagrams.
- Define and update cycle time in line with take time and standard operations.
- Establish manufacturing routines by releasing manufacturing process documents and process flowcharts.
- Ensure continuous improvement through lessons learnt and best practices using tools like process productivity analysis, improvement action plans, production equipment performance, trouble shooting, and problem solving.
- Create and maintain documents for volume increases, Engineering Changes, and capacity studies.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Process engineering or a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering as a process specialist.
- Advanced SAP experience.
- Ability to master whole tasks and synthesize them within a production line/shop floor.
