About the Role

Hydropower Systems, a leading company in innovative mining technology, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in industrial or mining environments and underground experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical components
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, mine regulations, and company procedures
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Support commissioning and operational activities on-site
• Complete accurate technical reports and documentation

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (Red Seal / Trade Test essential)
• Minimum 35 years experience in an industrial or mining environment
• Underground experience
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid drivers licence (advantageous)
