Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile 2000+ municipal accounts monthly
  • Process and maintain municipal billing
  • Perform account reconciliations and query resolution
  • Work extensively on Sage Pastel Accounting
  • Handle debtors, invoicing, and payment allocations
  • Liaise with municipalities regarding discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate financial records and reporting
  • Assist with month-end processes

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting
  • Strong experience working on Sage Pastel Accounting
  • Experience in property management or municipal billing (HIGHLY advantageous)
  • Ability to handle high-volume accounts (critical)
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
