About the Role
Our client, Communicate Finance, is seeking a Credit & Pricing Analyst to sit at the center of commercial decision-making and own the analytical engine behind pricing and credit strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Design, refine, and own models that influence profitability, credit risk, and growth across several operating countries
- Analyse large, diverse datasets to improve automated credit scoring and risk models, forecast repayment behaviour and portfolio losses
- Explore new analytical approaches that unlock better customer and business outcomes
- Engage with operational teams and drive real change
- Go beyond spreadsheets to understand second-order effects
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in credit risk, pricing, data science, or a similar analytical role
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R for modelling, statistical analysis, and visualisation
- Experience building or maintaining credit scorecards, pricing models, or financial forecasts
- Solid understanding of credit risk, portfolio performance, and P&L drivers
- Strong problemsolving ability with a commercial, outcome-focused mindset
- Ability to explain complex quantitative insights to nontechnical stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
