About the Role
PAR Excellence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Key Accounts Manager to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the food/beverage/pharma manufacturing/flavour supply industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain existing clients in RSA/Africa and develop/maintain strong relationships with the existing client base
- Seek new business and expand customer base by presenting a range of options available to clients
- Drive sales and provide excellent service to clients, aiming to achieve/exceed sales targets
- Handle after-sales service/client queries professionally
- Submit weekly sales/client visit reports and participate in regular sales meetings
- Collaborate with a team of proven professionals, including taste technicians and production technologists, to develop/master unique flavours/ingredients
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- ND Sales & Marketing or Food Technology
- Proficiency in MS Office and Pastel
- 2-4 years’ experience selling raw materials/ingredients to the food/beverage/pharma manufacturing/flavour supply industries
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Business-minded, dynamic, proactive, well-spoken, results-driven, team-oriented, resilient, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Own reliable vehicle
- Contactable references
