Job Description
About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician to join our team in Cape Town. As a Forklift Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts, as well as providing technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts
- Conduct mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate records of job cards and workshop documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Forklift Technician in the Forklift Repair Industry
- Trade Qualification | Relevant Tertiary Education will be advantageous
- Proficient in job card systems and workshop documentation essential
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fault finding and forklift maintenance will be essential
- Valid Driver’s License
