About the Role
Home concept is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Shop Controller to join our team in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cut & Edge operations or woodworking machinery, with excellent supervisory and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Operate machinery when necessary.
- Ensure delivery standards are consistently maintained and enhanced.
- Maintain and update machinery maintenance files to ensure 100% compliance.
- Perform regular machine maintenance, including greasing and general upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the board shop.
- Provide excellent customer service and support sales activities.
- Create and submit operational activity and sales reports.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Cut & Edge operations or woodworking machinery or similar.
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
- Strong Admin skills are essential.
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
Qualifications
No formal education qualifications are required for this role. A high school matric certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
