Western Cape: Logistics Assistant posted by Time Personnel

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Operations Assistant, or similar role
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems (advantageous)
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
• Obtain and maintain a valid forklift licence (training will be required for the successful candidate).

 
 
DUTIES

• Primary focus on logistics coordination, ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods and materials.
• Provide backup support for operations, assisting with day-to-day activities when required.
• Manage warehouse operations, maintaining organized workflows, storage practices, and compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee stock control, including accurate receiving, storage, and dispatching of inventory.
• Execute month-end inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies and maintaining precise stock records.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, being available every alternate weekend to support operational needs.
• Obtain and maintain a valid forklift licence (training will be required for the successful candidate).
