Key Responsibilities:

• Validate credit risk and marketing scorecards to ensure models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with internal and external standards.
• Build and implement challenger models using data mining and predictive modelling techniques.
• Provide input into the governance and monitoring of models throughout the credit lifecycle.
• Collaborate with modelling teams and business stakeholders to provide challenge and assurance during model reviews.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• Minimum: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science.
• Preferred: Honours Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science.

Experience:

• 3–6 years’ experience in scorecard development and validation, including credit risk application and behavioural models.
• Experience in building and monitoring models for marketing or decisioning purposes.
• Understanding of the credit lifecycle and model governance processes.

Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data mining and predictive modelling tools.
• Ability to work across multiple model types and business functions.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills within technical and business teams.
