WATER AND SANITATION BULK SERVICES BULK WATER TECHNICAL SERVICES PRINCIPAL PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: WATER TREATMENT SPECIALIST THIS IS A RE-ADVERTISEMENT. CANDIDATES WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR WS 205/25 NEED NOT RE-APPLY TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,307,905 PER ANNUM REF NO: WS 38/26 WATER CITY, BELLVILLE Requirements: BEng or BSc (Eng) degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering Preferred BEng or BSc (Eng) degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering with a Masters qualification in water treatment Eight (8) years or more relevant post-graduate experience Preferred eight (8) years or more relevant experience post-registration Professional registration (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa, or equivalent body recognised by the Washington Accord Computer literate A valid Code EB drivers licence Must be physically fit. Key performance areas: Oversee complex infrastructure and asset management projects, focus on the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, and drawings. Initiation and implementation of water treatment optimisation Investigations. Providing water treatment process support and applying whole life cycle asset management for operations and maintenance Manage treatment investigations with internal and external units Manage the communication and relationships between various stakeholders Explore and implement new ways of delivering services that contribute to the improvement of municipal processes Draft correspondence of a more complex and involved nature to facilitate the functioning of the Branch, including preparation of capital and operating estimates within a planned project, and manage and control expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
