About the Role
The Supervisor role at Gorimas is a key position that oversees the daily operations of our stores, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our customers. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, and upholding our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising staff to ensure optimal store performance
- Managing inventory to maintain product quality and minimize waste
- Maintaining high customer service standards through effective communication and problem-solving
- Ensuring visual merchandising aligns with brand identity and store layout
- Supporting sales goals by providing excellent sales and customer service
- Continuously reporting and administering store operations
- Managing health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Providing training and development opportunities for employees
- Inspiring our corporate cultural identity among customers and employees
Requirements
- Relevant experience in retail management or supervisory roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising principles
- Proven ability to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience (e.g. NQF level 4)
