Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – Weapons Integration to support the integration, verification, and validation of weapon systems on complex platforms. The role involves working across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure system performance, safety, and compliance with stringent military and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the systems engineering lifecycle for weapons integration projects
Define system requirements, interfaces, and performance specifications
Integrate weapon systems with platform avionics, mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems
Develop and manage interface control documents (ICDs)
Support system modelling, simulation, and trade-off studies
Plan and support integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities
Participate in ground and flight/field test campaigns
Ensure compliance with applicable military standards, safety, and airworthiness requirements
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
3–7+ years’ experience in systems engineering, preferably within defence or aerospace
Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies (V-model, requirements management)
Experience with system integration and interface management
Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS or similar)
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
