About the Role

MPRTC Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Extrusion Specialist – Manufacturing to join our team in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our extrusion processes and contributing to the optimisation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain extrusion processes and production line optimisation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance
Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality products
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to achieve shared goals

Requirements

N4 Electrical/Electronic or Millwright qualification
Red Seal Trade Certificate
±5 years’ experience in a fast-moving production environment
Proven experience with extrusion processes and production line optimisation
Good communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant trade certificates or diplomas may be considered an asset.
