About the Role
Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Treasurer to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management, debt and financing facilities, risk management, operations, and compliance processes. With a strong background in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning, you will play a critical role in driving our financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for trading, operational, and financing activities
- Ensure liquidity to meet obligations by collaborating with finance and operational teams
- Maintain and grow relationships with banks and financiers
- Expand borrowing facilities and identify new financing opportunities
- Monitor FX positions and manage risk alongside financial control teams
- Track and report product-related documentation
- Coordinate trade finance requests and manage operational finance documentation
- Ensure adherence to group policies and support corporate strategy implementation
Requirements
- Proven experience in treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning
- Strong background in debt management and financing facilities
- Exposure to risk management, including FX and trade finance
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with treasury management systems
- Understanding of banking operations and financial instruments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CFA, CIMA, or similar certification is advantageous)
