Job Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
As a Financial Accountant you will responsible for the following:
- Assist in preparing financial statements.
- Accurately record financial transactions in a timely manner.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
- Assist with preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Contribute to budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Participate in inventory management and related activities.
- Help prepare financial reports for management review.
- Provide support during audits by gathering required documentation and information.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
- Stay informed on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Support senior accountants and financial managers with daily tasks and special projects.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom in Finance
Completed articles would be beneficial
Minimum of 2 years’ post article experience
Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
