Job Summary
- Matric.
- Relevant financial qualification. (Diploma / Certificate).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial administration / accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Process accounting entries.
- Process VAT invoices.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns,ensure timely payments.
- Prepare tax returns and submit them on time.
- Complete all applicable statutory returns.
- Draft monthly management accounts.
- Maintain cash flow projections.
- Administer and assist with general accounting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
