Johannesburg: School Books Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced School books sales manager to develop and execute our school sales strategies. A key objective will be conducting research in market trends and behaviours to inform and guide the company’s sales efforts. Communication and high-level negotiations skills are essential for this position. Reporting to the National Sales and Operational executive, your responsibilities will includes, but not limited to: Responsibilities Lead and motivate national sales teams. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets. Research and identify new potential customers and opportunities. Negotiate and sign SLA with national and regional customers. Review and adjust marketing plans. Tracking sales data to find strengths and weaknesses. Networking and managing large client contracts. Requirements Proven experience as a school book sales manager in publishing or retail environment. Strong communication and management skills. Analytical and data driven problem solver. Excellent organizational and time management skills. In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team. You are a strong team player who can build good relationships at all levels of the organization. Availability to travel. Own reliable transport, with valid driver’s license.
