Payroll Software Maintenance: Keep the Pastel Payroll system up to date with employee data, tax rate changes, and new payroll-related information. Auditing: Assist with internal and external payroll audits as required. Qualifications And Skills Requirements: Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Accounting, HR, or a related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration, with a strong emphasis on Pastel Payroll software. 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or procurement. Strong understanding of tax legislation (e.g., PAYE, UIF, SDL) and other statutory obligations. Strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality with a methodical approach to work. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management regarding payroll issues. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent knowledge of payroll best practices.
