We require a candidate with:
• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree)
• Minimum 4 years relevant IT experience
• Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert Certification (Beneficial)
• Working knowledge of various Operating Systems (eg. Windows Server, RedHat, CentOS, SuSE)
• Server-side development experience (eg. .NET Core, .NET Framework, NodeJS)
• Database Experience (eg. MSSQL, NoSQL, MongoDb)
• Experience with RESTful services, Postman & JavaScript Scripting
• Build tools (eg. Maven, Dotnet, XCode) and Git
• Application Configuration and Deployment (.NET Core, Angular, NodeJs, .NET Framework)

CICD tools and pipelines (eg. Azure DevOps Pipelines & Releases)
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools.
• Enterprise Caching (eg. Redis, NCache)
• Experience using message busses (eg. Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Cloud services experience (eg. Azure)
• Containerization technologies (eg. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools – Terraform preferable
• Experience with load balancers such as F5/A10
• Experience with Web/Application hosting environments (IIS/Windows Services/ Nginx)
• Experience using/implementing Elastic (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• APM Tools Experience (New Relic, Elastic APM, API Fortress)

• ITIL certification at foundation level is preferable

• System monitoring tools
• System administration of servers and software
• Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes beneficial
• Deployment architectures

• Investigating and addressing availability, performance and capacity issues
