About the Role
Sagen Advisory is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team for the Southern African region and will be based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate, complete, and timely financial information across a group of companies, while providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations and ensure timely, reliable reporting across all entities.
- Supervise key functions including cash management, payables, receivables, payroll, and asset accounting.
- Drive month-end and year-end closure processes and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the compilation of statutory financial statements and regulatory submissions.
- Manage audit engagements and ensure readiness for review.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) designation or a relevant Professional Qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Honors or postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 8 years experience in a finance role.
- Strong financial reporting experience.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience in the South African financial and regulatory environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems, software, and processes.
Salary & Benefits
R1,200,000 to R1,400,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
