DUTIES: Dictation Commercial litigation RAF liquidations Sequestration High Court Trusts Wills Legal Document Management Draft, edit, and format pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and briefs Prepare discovery documents and trial bundles Ensure compliance with court formatting and submission standards Court Filing & Scheduling File legal documents with courts (including electronic filing for High Court and Magistrates Court) Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations Attorney & Client Support Liaise with clients, counsel, and court officials professionally and confidentially Coordinate meetings, manage correspondence, and relay case updates Assist attorneys with trial preparation and logistics Case Administration Organize and maintain case files (physical and digital) – with help from the Attorney Conduct preliminary legal and compile supporting documentation if instructed to so Monitor case progress and update internal systems Office & Team Coordination Manage diaries, answer calls, and coordinate internal communications Handle billing, timesheets, and expense tracking Support procurement of legal supplies and office resources – Only when necessary, when the current lady may off or sick etc.) REQUIRMENTS: 3 years experience Knowledge of Case-line and court online Extremely well groomed, and professional English and Afrikaans speaking
