Cape Town City Centre: Shared Service Controller

Job Description

The Shared Services Controller will provide strategic and operational leadership across key financial functions, ensuring accurate transactions, effective cash flow management, and compliance with internal controls. This position involves developing and implementing SOPs, championing automation initiatives, and collaborating with IT and vendors to enhance systems. The role also includes managing a team, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and driving continuous improvement to optimize working capital and operational efficiency. Skills & Experience: Solid experience in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs for finance functions Track record in automation and system improvements within Shared Services Strong project management skills, including technology-driven initiatives Leadership and staff management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with Accpac (Sage 300) Qualification: Degree in Accounting Contact CLARISSA VIRET on

Job Description: Lead and inspire a talented Shared Services team Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and financial controls Champion automation and system optimization projects Develop and implement standardized SOPs for AR, AP, and Treasury Collaborate across departments to enhance working capital and streamline processes Drive change management and digital transformation initiatives Skills & Experience: Solid experience managing Accounts Receivable and Payable functions Proven track record in process improvement and automation Strong leadership and project management skills Hands-on experience with Accpac (Sage 300) and MS Office Knowledge of service or cleaning industry is a plus Qualification: Degree in Accounting or similar (advantageous)
