Our client, a prominent name in the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ a Senior Financial Accountant (CA) SA to their team-based in Johannesburg (Industria).

Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant [CA(SA)].
- 23 years post-article working experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial ERP systems.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Prepare, analyse, and present monthly financial results to management.
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts packs.
- Conduct comprehensive financial and variance analysis.
- Monitor, manage, and forecast short- and long-term cash flows.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct costing analysis to support production and profitability.
- Review and improve financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain and forecast cash flow and liquidity.
- Review and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Drive compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Engage in product costing and provide insight on cost efficiencies.
- Support audits and statutory reporting.
- Maintain complete, accurate financial accounting records.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate application of IFRS in financial statements and reports.
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statements and audit readiness.
- Analyse and address stock variances as per monthly stock take.
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register.
