About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support their network infrastructure by implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems. They provide second-level support to the Help Desk and regional administrators, requiring expertise in operating systems, networking, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with global providers to enhance JAS Worldwide Network.
- Build, configure, and audit firewall and SASE security policies.
- Enhance global security through segmentation and standardization.
- Communicate and audit network policies to remote offices.
- Ensure global consistency and troubleshoot issues.
- Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Configure and document failover/disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure and document network logging and monitoring systems.
- Log incidents and resolutions, contributing to a knowledge base.
- Assist with testing new software releases.
- Maintain expertise in standard software and hardware.
- Provide individual and group instruction on equipment and software.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and deliver on projects.
- Thirst for learning new technologies and adopting new approaches.
- Ability to solve complex problems and understand abstract concepts.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Clear communication, both verbal and written, on a technical level.
- Advanced knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
