About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join our team at Communicate Finance in Tzaneen. As a key member of our infrastructure support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of site equipment and IT systems, delivering end-to-end IT support, and maintaining system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of site infrastructure, including network cabling, electrical wiring, and machine connectivity
- Deliver end-to-end IT support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system integration issues across machines and IT platforms
- Install, configure, and integrate specialized software with machine systems to align with operational and business requirements
- Maintain and update machine and IT databases to ensure system efficiency, data integrity, and smooth site operations
- Perform software upgrades and machine interface updates, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of integrated systems
Requirements
- Strong IT skills combined with expertise in machine integration and electronic technology
- Proven ability to perform accurate machine calibration and system alignment
- Knowledge of PLC systems and automation technologies
- Proficiency in spoken and written Afrikaans is essential
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport (required for international travel)
