About the Role
Are you a results-driven marketing leader with a strong passion for brand development and strategic execution? Our client, a respected organisation within the Retail and FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Durban-based team. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, influence brand direction, and deliver impactful marketing solutions within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing integrated marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Ensuring brand consistency across all channels and customer touch points
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing marketing team
- Managing marketing campaigns from concept through to execution
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product launches and promotional initiatives
- Monitoring and optimising marketing budgets, KPIs, and return on investment
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 810 years of experience in brand and consumer marketing
- Sound understanding of the South African Retail and FMCG market
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and performance delivery
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools
- Strong strategic capability combined with hands-on execution
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- A valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required
Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- Sound understanding of the South African Retail and FMCG market
