About the Role

Our client, a prestigious Furniture Retail and interior business based in Polokwane, is seeking an experienced Furniture Salesperson to join their team. They offer a unique blend of exclusive fabric and furniture collections, complemented by a professional interior design team providing a range of services including interior design, upholstery, furniture design, custom-made curtains, and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve overall profitability of the company by reaching and exceeding monthly sales targets
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with existing client base to optimise sales
• Research, source, and develop prospective new clients to generate new business and optimise sales

Requirements

• Matric essential
• Tertiary diploma or similar in Sales will get preference
• Current and valid South African driver’s license
• Passion for designer furniture
• Proven furniture sales experience (at least 5+ years)
• Excellent negotiation, selling, and deal-closing skills including problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience with interior decorating would be an advantage
