About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join our stable and professional finance team. As a Centurion in our credit management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records. With 10 years of experience in a similar role, you possess the skills and knowledge required to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and capture supplier invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs in accordance with agreed payment terms
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditors records
- Assist with month-end close and reporting requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment queries
- Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks
Requirements
- Solid understanding of accounts payable processes
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
- Strong MS Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment is advantageous
