About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Associate with experience in commercial disputes and insolvency to join our Pretoria office. As an admitted attorney with 0-1 year of post-admissions experience, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing legal training, and contributing to the growth of your revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships with guidance from direct supervisors
- Provide legal (on-the-job) training/or guidance for other junior colleagues (i.e. Candidate Attorneys)
- Achieve their own revenue through billable hours
- Invest in your own personal development, including keeping up to date with the latest legislations and regulatory material
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney with 0-1 year of post-admissions experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and strong drafting skills
- Action relevant litigation and/or commercial instructions in commercial disputes and insolvency
Qualifications
- Completed LLB Degree
