About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing payment instructions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and business policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting duties and reconciliations as per established practices and guidelines
- Prepare and provide information related to transactions within a defined context to relevant stakeholders
- Engage in data capturing and record-keeping to ensure the smooth running of operations in financial services
- Create and maintain consistent metadata to meet legislative, quality, and security requirements
- Broaden own knowledge of the functional area and display a willingness to improve methods and practices
Requirements
- A minimum of a National Diploma in Accounting (NQF 6) or equivalent qualification
- Six months to two years working experience in a financial environment, specifically in accounting
Qualifications
- Completed National Diploma in Accounting (NQF 6)
