About the Role
A leading South African provider of telecommunications and solar energy solutions company, is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team in Sandton on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and compliance work across various telecom and solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on telecom and solar power systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with SANS standards and company safety protocols.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Issue and verify Certificates of Compliance (COC) for completed work.
- Collaborate with project teams to support 5G infrastructure, tower construction, and renewable energy projects.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed.
Requirements
- Valid Wiremans License.
- Valid Certificate of Compliance (COC) registration.
- Minimum 35 years experience in electrical installations or maintenance (telecom or renewable energy experience advantageous).
- Knowledge of electrical standards and safety procedures.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Wiremans License.
Salary & Benefits
R25 000 R30 000 CTC per month.
