About the Role
Our Maitland (Cpt) based client, a distinguished full-service designer with nearly three decades of experience in transforming homes and offices for corporate executives, business owners, and professionals in Johannesburg and Cape Town, is seeking an Office Manager to assist the owner in ensuring that the office, production, orders, deliveries, etc., are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be a South African citizen able to communicate in both English and Afrikaans, with strong personality and sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with placing orders, following up on orders and queries
- Follow up on quotes
- Liaise with production
- Update client, production, and client lists
- Draw up delivery and production schedules
- Receive and allocate materials
- Issue job cards to production
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned from time-to-time
Requirements
- Experience with Pastel
- Clear communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of Whats app Web
- Strong admin skills
- Experience in interior design / manufacturing
- SA citizen
- Able to communicate in both English & Afrikaans
- Immediately available (Non-negotiable)
- Need to have a strong personality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
- Relevant experience in administration or office management
