About the Role

Network Finance, a high-energy distribution and supply chain organization operating across retail and commercial channels, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. With a strong entrepreneurial culture and ambitious growth plans, the business focuses on efficiency, scalability, and commercial excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for full financial management of the company, serving as a strategic business partner to leadership while ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

Full financial management of the business, including reporting, controls, and compliance
Monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury oversight
Financial modelling and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Oversight of debtors, creditors, stock, and inventory valuation
Leadership and development of the finance team
Process improvement, automation, and system optimization
Liaison with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
Risk management and governance framework implementation

Requirements

BCom Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a financial leadership role
Strong background in distribution, FMCG, logistics, retail, or high-volume trading environments
Proven experience managing full finance functions
Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
