About the Role
The Financial Manager role is a critical position in our organization, responsible for driving financial process automation and system improvements, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and managing financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical finance, reporting, and financial modelling skills, as well as experience with financial systems and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting, compliance, and statutory requirements
- Drive financial process automation and system improvements
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools
- Support funding applications, lender reporting, and board reporting
- Lead and mentor finance staff across operational units
- Oversee ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
- CA(SA) qualification advantageous
- Minimum 8 years relevant finance and management experience
- Strong technical finance, reporting, and financial modelling skills
- Experience with financial systems and process automation
- Agriculture industry experience advantageous
