Job Title: Senior Windows Server Engineer Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 35 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Windows Server Engineer with strong experience in managing on-premises and hybrid Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will hold relevant Microsoft certifications and be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of Windows-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, administer, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022). Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services. Implement and support hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises Windows Server with Microsoft Azure. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Apply security best practices, patching, and backup/recovery procedures. Support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware). Maintain system documentation and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 35 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration. Certification(s): Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred) Alternatively, similar Microsoft infrastructure certifications Strong understanding of Active Directory, identity management, and server security. Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and administration. Preferred: Experience with Azure services, Azure AD, and hybrid identity solutions. Familiarity with ITIL or enterprise IT operations. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Requirements
