Cape Town City Centre: Supplier Replenishment Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses. Initiate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels. Replenishment Planning: Develop and execute replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and other relevant factors. Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and market conditions to identify improvement areas. Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order or shipment issues. Maintain strong supplier relationships and communication channels. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, warehouse, and logistics. Communicate proactively with suppliers regarding replenishment strategies and performance. Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, fill rates, and other KPIs. Provide actionable insights to support management decisions. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce costs. System Maintenance: Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate data and replenishment schedules. Problem Solving : Address stock-outs, overstocks, and supply chain disruptions efficiently. Skills & Qualifications Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to resolve issues related to inventory and supply chain operations. Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Technical Skills: SAP experience is essential. Proficiency in inventory management systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Supply Chain: Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management practices, and forecasting methodologies. FMCG industry experience is essential.
