Job Description

The Chief Sales Officer will provide executive leadership to the groups sales function, shaping and driving sustainable revenue growth and overall commercial success. The role is accountable for setting the strategic sales direction across the organisation, translating business objectives into scalable sales strategies, with a strong emphasis on monetising digital platforms, executing effective global go-to-market approaches, and accelerating growth through strategic partners and channels. The CSO will play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities while strengthening and expanding existing client relationships. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the role requires close engagement with Exco and the Board, strong revenue governance, and the ability to deliver predictable, scalable growth across diverse markets and customer segments. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute group-wide sales and revenue strategies aligned to business and growth objectives Lead platform commercialisation initiatives, including global go-to-market strategy for IoT and digital solutions Drive scalable, repeatable, platform-led revenue models across markets Build, expand, and govern a high-performing channel and partner ecosystem Strengthen enterprise and vertical-specific digitalisation solutions across key industries Own revenue governance, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and margin performance Lead, professionalise, and inspire a quota-carrying sales organisation with a strong performance culture Act as a trusted commercial advisor to Exco and the Board, providing insight into revenue performance, risks, and opportunities Work effectively within a group and OpCo environment, ensuring strong integration with broader ecosystem partners Drive strategic engagement across public and private sector clients, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and value creation Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field (essential) Around 10-15 years experience in telecommunications, ICT, and sales leadership, ideally within IoT environments Around 7-8 years experience in senior sales management or executive leadership roles Demonstrated experience commercialising and scaling platform-based solutions globally Proven ability to build and manage partner- and channel-driven growth models Public sector experience is essential Excellent revenue governance, forecasting discipline, and pipeline management capability Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at an Exco and Board level Experience operating within complex group or multi-OpCo structures Apply now!
