About the Role
Lead and develop the mechanical engineering team to achieve high performance in a motor manufacturing industry setting. Plan and allocate workloads, set priorities, and ensure projects meet deadlines and milestones. Oversee the full mechanical design lifecycle from concept through to production readiness.
Key Responsibilities

- Review, approve, and sign off all engineering drawings, designs, and technical documentation
- Ensure designs comply with performance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the motor manufacturing industry
- Minimum 10 years’ managerial experience in a technical or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer design and manufacturing
- Proven leadership, planning, and people development capability
- Drawing office management experience will be advantageous
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering / BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree
