About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day project and maintenance tasks, working closely with Senior Developers to analyze requirements, plan solutions, and execute them. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in quick turnarounds and low return rates, applying both technical and logical thinking to each task.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform programming and related tasks, including:
  • Planning, Estimations and Implementation
  • Writing code
  • Debugging errors
  • Testing
  • Technical Investigations
  • Write technical documentation
  • Communicate with stakeholders
  • Provide development support to Senior Developers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior Developers
  • Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Continuously improve:
  • Skills and Ability
  • Work Throughput
  • Communication
  • Return Rate (Target Less than 10%)
  • Estimations
  • Always be Accountable for what you do and work on
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of issues
  • Identify areas to improve system performance and availability
  • Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal customers
  • Ability to resolve design issues

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science
  • Degree or Diploma in Information System
  • Suitable Alternative
  • Microsoft Certifications (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required
