Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at our 4-star lodge in Mbombela. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for handling reservations, check-ins, and queries while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out and room allocations
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Respond to guest queries and requests in a timely manner
  • Process payments and handle cash floats
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Provide information on local attractions and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Cover shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings

Requirements

  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Basic knowledge of property management systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Basic understanding of hospitality and farm operations (a plus)

Qualifications

No formal education or qualifications are required for this role.

Salary & Benefits

The annual total cost of employment (CTC) is R51 000 – R75 600.
