About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving revenue growth and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales by planning and controlling revenue and expenses
- Set and track team targets, and report results
- Lead and develop the sales team through coaching, training, motivation, and product knowledge
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation, promoting products, understanding ideal customers, contributing to team goals
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Requirements
- Experience within the trucking and commercial industry (Volvo, UD Trucks, Scania etc.)
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Truck Sales Manager
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Ability to manage and direct a sales team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication skills
- Management and leader skills
- Dedication to providing great customer service
- Valid drivers’ license
- Clean criminal record
- Grade 12/Matric
