About the Role
We are seeking motivated and self-driven individuals to join a structured 3-year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme in Germiston. This opportunity combines practical workplace training with theoretical learning to develop skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Millwrights with electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
- Participate in practical and theoretical apprenticeship training
- Assist with fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Conduct inspections under supervision
- Maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping
- Assist with installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Complete training logs and maintenance documentation accurately
- Attend training sessions and trade-related assessments as required
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science OR Technical N2/N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Exposure to PLC/HMI systems advantageous
